Hey Cats and Kittens.

So I got a DS Lite and I must say: I'm amazed. You can feel free to believe the hype. They're wonderful. The buttons feel better, the stylus is bigger, the thing actually fits in your pocket now, it looks way the fuck cooler (inspiring people to express envy), and good lord.... Is that screen amazing!!! It's so bright my friend was watching me play it from 5 feet away. It's so bright I saw colors and vibrance that I didn't know games (even new ones like the New Super Mario Bros.) had!!! It's so bright GBA games look better. And the angle of the screens makes the true double screen effect (whereas before one of the screens was always a little off).

Trade your old one in. Steal, kill, whatever it takes. Just make the switch. You'll never regret it.

Yes, yes, I played one at a Gamestop across the street from Geauga Lake yesterday. It's the difference between the original Gameboy's LCD and the Gameboy Color's. Doesn't even look like LCD. Vivid, sharp, bright...

I may just swap my DS in and do that. I hear the trade-in is only $70 though... so I'd still need to scrape together sixty more bucks...

I never buy the same thing twice unless the first one breaks. I just don't have the funds for such things. Sure it may be better, but I never had much problem with the screen or buttons or stylus of the old DS. (Which I never bought, I just bum my brother's for the few games I wanna play, heh.)

It is SO much better.

But like I started to say, $60 ain't worth it. That's two whole new DS games, and you can guess how often I buy those.
